Description
The Namkaran Puja ceremony is used to name a newborn. In line with the pandit ji’s opening letter recommendation based on the baby’s Nakshatra, it is done to formally announce the baby’s name. Children get Samskaras at Namkaran Puja, a tradition that is seen to be very important in shaping a child’s character and upbringing.
This ceremony usually takes place on the eleventh day. This puja can also be done after three months or on the baby’s first birthday.
The ceremony, which is led by a panditji, starts with the Gauri Ganesh Puja and continues with the Kalash Puja, Punyaha Vachanam, Namakaran (reciting Vedic mantras while whispering the child’s name in the right ear), and a havan.
For Namkaran Puja, reserve a pandit. All of the Puja Samagri will be brought by Panditji. Every Pandit has extensive experience and has studied under Vedic Pathshala.
