Description
Lalitha Sahasranam Puja is performed in honor of Lalitha Devi. Poorva Bhaga, Stotra, and Uttara Bhaga are the three divisions of this. It comes from the Purana Brahmanada. The Poorva Bhaga talks about the origins of this Lalitha Sahasranamam, the Uttara Bhaga explains the benefits of reciting it, and the Stotra has 1000 Namas.
Nandi received Lalitha Sahasranamam, which had come directly from Shiva. From Nandi, it traveled to Hayagriva and Sage Agastya muni.
