Gau Daan

Description

Gau Daan is among the most divine Daans one can execute during one’s lifetime. Gau means cow, and Daan means to give.

Vedic Shastras state that all people have seven mothers: 1. Our mother 2. The Rajapathni 3. Earth Mother 4. A Brahmin 5. The Patni Guru 7. Mother Cow and 6. A nurse. The milk from the mother cow is similar to that of the cow. All cow products, such as milk, curd, ghee, gamaya (cow dung), and gamutram, are referred to as pancha gavyam. To live a pure, chemical-free life, a person requires this.

The benefits of Gau Daan include its capacity to eradicate papa karmas and sins.
It makes debt relief and forgiveness easier.
It facilitates the attainment of Moksha after death.
